About Lauren

Hello there! I’m Lauren Coulardot, mom, wife, cat enthusiast, and someone who finds meaning in the simple, grounding parts of life.

A little peak into my days is a blend of movement and creativity: chasing after my energetic son, sketching ideas in the margins of my notebook, and sharing space with two cats who believe they’re the center of the universe.

I’m drawn to quiet creativity, cozy evenings, and conversations that leave you feeling lighter. I value connection, honesty, and the kind of presence that makes people feel comfortable being themselves.

At my core, I’m someone who loves learning about people, creating warm spaces, and finding beauty in the everyday. Whether I’m curled up with a book, exploring a new idea, or spending time with family and friends, I try to move through life with intention, curiosity, and a whole lot of heart.

Meet my Backups

Birth is unpredictable, but your support shouldn’t be. While I plan to be at every birth I’m invited into, there may be rare moments when I’m unable to be present.

Because of that, I’m connected with a small group of doulas who feel like extensions of my own practice people who lead with gentleness, respect, and a deep commitment to caring for families.

We lean on each other the way birth workers are meant to: with community, trust, and shared values. If I ever need to call in backup, I’ll reach out right away and make sure you feel comfortable, informed, and supported through the transition.

My hope is that you always feel held not just by me, but by the community surrounding you.

A DONA certified birth with a degree in Human Development and Family Science and over 15 years of experience as a nanny. Going through my own birth experiences and supporting loved ones in labor sparked my passion for birth work. I believe you deserve to feel confident and fully supported in your birth choices.
